Our Buddies Initiative is in full swing as 5th Class joined forces with Junior Infants for a creative Halloween activity! The Buddy Programme is all about building friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging by pairing our older pupils with our youngest learners.
This week, the children worked together to make colourful Halloween witch art. The 5th Class students were wonderful role models—helping their buddies cut, glue, and design their spooky creations—while the infants loved having a “big friend” to share ideas and laughter with.
The classroom buzzed with teamwork, creativity, and joy. It was a lovely reminder that learning and wellbeing grow best when we support one another. We’re already looking forward to our next Buddy adventure!
